Govt response, 22.01.2021The government responds to Campaign Against Arms Trade’s (CAAT) application for judicial review. It submits that the Secretary of State has developed her existing methodology in accordance with the legal approach identified by the Court of Appeal in the previous case, and it is on that basis that the Secretary of State reached the new contested decisions. It submits that permission for judicial review should be refused on the basis that none of the grounds are properly arguable.
