This complaint brought by the NYCFPA seeks to challenge the rushed authorisation of the sale of weapons to the UAE by the US Department of State. It is claimed that the Department of State failed to provide a reasoned explanation for the rushed sale of sensitive weapons systems, in violation of the Administrative Procedure Act. It is also submitted that there is clear evidence that the weapons sale would be in contravention of world peace and US security and should therefore have been denied under the terms of the Arms Export Control Act.
