Arms Sales: The Yemen Example

This article examines the legal structure in place to prevent the sale of arms to foreign countries that could be used for an improper purpose, through the claim for injunctive relief and damages filed by Yemeni nationals in the US. It highlights the human rights consequences of an improper legal framework regarding the sale or provision of lethal weapons by the US to other countries, further evidenced by the escalation of violence between Israel and Gaza since 7 October 2023.
