The Arms Trade Litigation Monitor (ATLM) tracks and documents litigation related to irresponsible arms transfers contributing to violations of international law and protracted violence in various contexts. To date, the majority of the cases on this site have focused on the conflict in Yemen. However, there are now an increasing number of efforts to explore legal action against irresponsible arms transfers to Israel, in light of the situation in Palestine. This page presents an overview of the Yemen conflict and an overview of the situation in Palestine.
Yemen Conflict
Most of the litigation documented by this initiative seeks to address the continued large-scale flow of weapons to the Saudi-led coalition despite the devastating civilian and humanitarian impact of their involvement in the armed conflict in Yemen.
