Appeals Court judgement on civil suit against the State of the Netherlands for transfer of F-35 parts to Israel

The Appeals Court overturns the District Court’s ruling against the plaintiffs on the civil suit against the State of the Netherlands for the transfer of F-35 parts to Israel. The court rules that there is a clear risk that serious violations of IHL are being committed in Gaza. Pursuant to the international instruments to which the Netherlands is a party, the state is obligated to prohibit the export of military goods if there is a clear risk of serious violations of IHL.
