Order, 30.04.2024

In the case of Alleged Breaches of Certain International Obligations in respect of the Occupied Palestinian Territory (Nicaragua v. Germany) at the ICJ, on 30 April 2024, the Court ruled that the circumstances were not such as to require the indication of provisional measures given Germany’s assurances with regards to the current state of exports of weapons to Israel. However, the ICJ also rejected Germany’s request that the Court manifestly lacks jurisdiction to rule on the merits of the case.
