Several licences that had not been suspended by previous proceedings were the subject of annulment proceedings that sought to have these remaining licences cancelled.nnn

The court agreed with the claimant’s argument that when authorising arms deliveries to Saudi Arabia, the government had failed to consider the behaviour of the buyer country as required by criterion 6, in particular its compliance with international commitments regarding the non-use of force and IHL. It therefore called for all licences that came before it to be cancelled.
