The second claim for judicial review was filed after the Secretary of State decided to resume granting new licences for arms sales to Saudi Arabia. Campaign Against Arms Trade (CAAT) is arguing that UK arms have contributed to breaches of international humanitarian law (IHL) and one of the world’s worst humanitarian disasters. The hearing was held from 31 January to 2 February 2023. A judgement is expected in summer 2023.
